Factory One Design
The Philadelphia Wooden Boat Factory has regrettably closed down.
If any Youth Organization would like to build this Daysailer. Let me know.
This design was created for the boatbuilding program at The Philadelphia Wooden Boat Factory.
The program was run by Brett Hart and hosted inner city youth. Victoria Guidi was their boatbuilding instructor.
It was a privilege working with them and getting to meet and spend time with an exceptional group of kids.
These guys are fearless! Taking on a project like this – and not just building one boat, but three!
It’s wonderful to see the way they rose to a challenge.
