Illusion is a fiction. Fiction is illusion.
Illusion, verisimilitude, the similarity to truth.
A fiction is a story. All stories are fiction.
A closeness to truth?
Stories are fictions and stories can be true.
And/or not true.
The same story.
Stories are dangerous. That is how they hold our attention.
Danger met with curiosity? Leads somewhere else….
Stories can’t be taken literally.
That’s funny, since stories can be literally literature!
Story met with curiosity can lead us into metaphor.
Into extended, rhyming, fractal metaphor.
This is how illusion, fiction, lead us towards truth.
